About Me

In late 2019, I began creating pottery after receiving a wheel-throwing course as a gift at 44. Pottery runs in my family, with my grandmother Felicity Wedd starting her pottery passion at a similar age and my uncle Gerry Wedd making it his life's work. My uncle's artwork, particularly, has inspired me to experiment with colour, be daring, and express my sense of humour.

I have a small home studio equipped with an electric kiln for firing and producing small batches of pottery in my free time. My creations are often experimental and fun, based on what interests me at the time. I also enjoy incorporating patterns and Tasmania's flora and fauna into my work.

Please note that since each piece is handmade and unique, it is a polite way of saying it is not perfect!

If you live in the Launceston area, I am happy to deliver your piece or have you pick it up from my studio. Knowing where my pottery is headed would be fantastic, and I am grateful for your support and appreciation of my creations.
